Removable insulation jackets, also known as reusable insulation jackets, are composed of three layers of insulation materials.The surface lay is made from grey silicone rubber coated fiberglass cloth, grey PTFE coated fiberglass cloth or other coated fiberglass cloth. The lower lay that directly contact with high temperature insulation equipments is made from high silica cloth, fiberglass cloth, bio soluble fiber cloth, ceramic fiber cloth, etc., because these materials can resist higher temperature and achieve very good thermal insulation effect for high temperature equipments. Silicone rubber coated fiberglass cloth (also called silicone coated fiberglass cloth) and PTFE coated fiberglass cloth are the excellent surface lay materials of the removable insulation jackets, because they are heat and cold insulation fabrics which can withstand temperature from -70 degrees C to +300 degrees C and have excellent weather resistance. Since both kinds of cloth are coated with chemical resins on their surface, they are dust free, smooth, more durable and stronger than the uncoated fiberglass cloth.The elastic layers of the cloth can enhance abrasion and tearing strength as well as prolong the cloth service life. Silicone rubber coated fiberglass cloth and PTFE coated fiberglass cloth have excellent chemical resistance, weathering resistance, fireproof, waterproof, oil resistance, etc., they are superior insulation materials for making removable insulation jackets.
